By Demosthenes Kyriazis

Currently, we are experiencing a profound crisis in almost all sectors: in the economy, the security of life and property of citizens, the education, the functioning of the state, the administration of justice, the provision of health services, the exploitation of the country's wealth resources ,  the... ..

Most people think that, out of all of these crises, the major one is that of economy. But this conclusion is wrong, because there is strong interaction and feedback between the crises; one crisis is being feedbacked and magnified by the other. The need therefore is to find the dominant cause; to find the mother who bears and nourishes all these crises. Let's find it and cancel it, because that is the only way to overcome, effectively and definitively, all the aforementioned crises.

But what is the dominant cause of all these crises?

The answer to this question is obvious. The dominant cause is the crisis of the political system, because it has the institutional right, the responsibility and power to change and define the characteristics of all other systems.

Dominant cause is the crisis of the political system.

The truth of this conclusion is revealed daily in the controversial changes for rationale and moral,  that the political system, with ease, sloppiness and high frequency brings to the above-mentioned systems. So if we do not overcome the dominant crisis, if we do not cure the disease, then salvation will not come. Our efforts to cure education, economy, exploitation of resources, public security, the functioning of the state, will prove ineffective; they will prove vain. With deterministic certainty, we will move into a vicious circle [1], where we try to improve the symptoms (results) while letting their cause untouched and acting within the same institutional / contractual possibilities and rights.

However the above view, despite its simple and solid logic, is not accepted from the majority of citizens. The majority of citizens believe that the dominant crisis is that of the economy and that its overcoming, will lead to the overcoming of all other crises. Thus, experts and ordinary citizens are content to formulate views and suggestions on improving education systems, public security, health care services, the exploitation of resources and others, ignoring the fact that these unambiguous logical proposals are not adopted by the political system, its primary objective of which is the conquest of power by the party and not the application of rational ideas for the good of the people;

The experts and citizens act ignoring historical events of effective laws ahd successful production units, in the sectors of economy, of education and elsewhere, that canceled because the existence of them prevented the promotion of goals of the political system of partycracy.

 In our view, the crisis we are experiencing is systematic and is due to the increase of the entropy of the political system; an increase that has as a deterministic effect the degradation of the systems and the inability to produce a beneficial work, that we see happening today in our country.

In the political systems the magnitude of entropy is expressed by the degree of concentration of power, and the Entropy Law in them is expressed as follows: "All spontaneous processes are made in the direction of increasing the concentration of power" [2]. This means that increasing the concentration of power (the increase of social entropy) is a deterministic course, which man can not change, because the struggle with Nature is unequal and such efforts are utopian. What man can and should change is the institutionalization and implementation of rules that reduce, substantially delay, the inevitable increase in entropy. The phenomenon is similar to earthquakes, where man is unable to cancel their appearance and all that remains is to take measures that limit the disasters from their inevitable presence.

In the logic of the determinism of entropy, the overcoming of the deep and general crisis we experience will only be achieved when institutions of entropy reduction are created; when institutions of negative entropy production are created; when institutions are created to transfer the power currently exercised from the 100% owners of power, to the Set of citizens.

But the functioning of such institutions, the functioning of such a Democracy, had great operational and financial difficulties for obvious reasons. These difficulties limited the functioning of the Real Democracy to the small States-Cities of ancient Greece.

Today, however, thanks to the digital technology, both operational and financial difficulties became much more easier and cost-effectively from those of ancient Greek States-Cities. This big change is due to the fact that today, thanks to digital technology, Pnyka will go to the Citizens, not the Citizens to Pnyka..

Some data about this big change are in the article: «When Pnyka will go to citizens”

Note: Pnyka ( Πνύκα)  is a hill opposite and southwest of Acropolis in Athens. Since the end of the 6th c BC it has been established as the place where the “Ecclesia of Demos”, that is the assembly of ancient Athens citizens, convened. Afterwards it has been recognized as a landmark of Democracy.

[1] vicious circle we call reasoning, and therefore practices, where the result is perceived as a cause. With such a "logical process" it is impossible to understand and solve a problem definitively, since our efforts are limited to minimizing the effects (symptoms), while the real cause remains acting and intact. A typical example is the treatment of the memorandum of the loan agreement, not as a result, but as a cause.
